Moulding the letters and casting them with plaster ☟
A day before the ✭BIG✭ one
Yesterday everything was ready. Flyers were printed and the columns were ready for shooting and placing.
This morning i had arranged a professional photo-shooting with lights and a set design. At this stage i won't reveal the professional pictures but i have some from the setting up:

After the Municipality of Limassol that gave me permission to use Dioikitirion's square there was a request that i have a guard few hours everyday to guard the installation. I did a programme and highlighted the hours that the guard will be there. My fear is that immature people will destroy or vandalize the columns so a guard i think is the best solution. 
Parallel to the above promotional material is ready to sent to the press. i am going to send it on Monday after i have all the material of pictures to put on the cd
i was thinking that the best way to represent all the work, places, people i've talked to is to record taking pictures. i was wondering that after all this work 'behind the scenes' can never been seen, let's hope that the result will be appreciated.Yesterday i went the Litho omega Ltd the printers that i will have the flyers printed

A very busy day: ➵Towards the end
❥Yesterday i was looking for a black 2m x 3m black fabric to use as a background in the warehouse/studio that i have the boxes in for photography purposes. When i went to the fabric shop i got so excited from the colors around me that i started talking pictures 
❥Last night i went to the guy that is doing the stickers for me to give him the bases that the text will go on. At 12:30 i was still there waiting..
❥I also found a place that we can print the t-shirts with a more logical price so i am very happy about this.
❥Yesterday there was an accident while 'making' one of the columns. The accident will be fixed by tomorrow evening

➟This is just a small sample of the work that is being done. There is lot of physical work but the result is looking good 
➟I got a quotation in order to print t-shirts for people to wear on Saturday but 290euro!!!but no way to do that.it's a good idea to have people wearing the t-shirts and giving out the flyers it will look more organized.I am going to ask to other places

I am really tired and it's only Tuesday today. The set up is only a few days away..
New things are rising for the event such as

i've contacted 2 radio stations and i've sent them the press release so that they announce the art installation
waiting for the approval from the Municipality of Limassol in written form
Budjet is going out of the way
need to set up the space that the columns are in with lighting equipment and a background
Stickers are almost ready, problems have came up as how to attach the key on the column but is sorted out
All weekend there was loads of painting including yesterday and today (this evening)

Flying away..✈
The day has arrived. Today after an MA interview i have i am flying to Cyprus and arriving at 4:30 in the morning. Wednesday i am going to get my 'columns' from the factory and order stickers/paint/ have a key made etc.... Lots of stress and excitement at the same time..

I managed to find laser cutting technique @ St Martins. Through out the process we destroyed 3 envelopes but the result is fantastic am really pleased.

Feedback Thursday 15th of May
A meeting was arranged for the whole class today (separated into 3 Groups). Although i was in the 3rd group (and that meant that the standard of the work wasn't very good) i managed to present my work and talk about it with the rest of the group and Geoff as well. The feedback from Geoff was really good and he was impressed with all the effort, of flying back to Cyprus and setting up a whole project. Apparently, my work wasn't clear enough of what i was doing. I didn't want to give in work with loads of pages so i decided to keep it simple and less. After talking about it and explaining it, everything made sense.
Geoff mentioned the fact that i could a calendar recording every single day i.e things to do list for every day, and also do a 'manual' on everything?The last bit of the manual i did get really so i need to ask again. Although i mentioned the fact that parallel to that i am doing all the print work for the exhibition and i think there was a relation to that. But i am not sure if Geoff realized that i am already in the Daitumn team and one of its founding members.
Oh well there is lots to do

Mock ups & 3D letters
Mock ups of the boxes so to see their visual aspect. For example i see that when there are all of the 7 boxes the can't be in a line and their position needs to be changed and have them spread randomly within the space.☚
☛LETTERS LETTERS!!Arrived i am so excited they are really beautiful and since i wanted to work with letters from the start i think the idea of sending these to the press is really unique. Send them as a gift and impress.
They ran out of 'd' so i ordered a b that's why is a bit mixed up
